This piece symbolises the little things in life — the simple, everyday rituals we often overlook, only to realise later that they were, in fact, the big things.
Like sitting down for a cup of tea and a slice of cake with someone you love. For me, that someone are my grandparents.
Pictured is my representation of the blue and white willow-pattern China my grandfather use to collect, and the vase of fresh flowers from the garden that always sat on my grandparents’ dining table.
